Last Interview, from 2012, is this intriguing blend of drama and fantasy. It presents Mr. Baek, a character who's got this unique vulnerability to sunlight, which creates a really intense atmosphere throughout the film. The pacing is quite deliberate, almost contemplative, which allows us to fully digest his struggles. Themes of hope, desperation, and the absurdity of job hunting come through in a pretty poignant way. The performances are solid, especially from the lead, who really captures the essence of a man on the edge, battling both internal and external challenges. There's a certain charm in the practical effects used, which, while minimal, enhance the surreal quality of Mr. Baek's situation. It’s definitely a different kind of watch.
Explores themes of vulnerability and ambition.Interesting character study with a surreal twist.Noteworthy for its atmosphere and pacing.
