Last Train is a curious little horror flick that really plays with the tension of the unknown. Set almost entirely on a dimly lit platform, the atmosphere is thick with dread. The practical effects used for the unsettling encounters are surprisingly well done, adding a rawness that CGI just can't replicate. Performances are decent; the lead carries the weight of the escalating terror well, though it’s not without its pacing issues. There’s a distinct lack of backstory, which gives it a dream-like quality, almost like a nightmare you can’t shake off. Not your typical horror fare but certainly has its own vibe.
