Lee Dae-ro Can't Die is a quirky blend of action and dark comedy. The film follows this corrupt cop, who's given a death sentence of sorts, and you really feel the weight of that ticking clock. The pacing is a bit erratic, which fits the chaotic life of our protagonist. There's an interesting mix of practical effects that adds some grit to the action scenes, making them feel raw and impactful. And the performances? They strike a balance—at times over-the-top, yet surprisingly poignant. It’s distinctive for its satirical take on mortality and the moral dilemmas that come with it. You end up laughing and reflecting, which is not something you find in every action flick.
