Legion of the Night is this wild blend of horror and action, set against the gritty backdrop of Detroit. You’ve got these C.Z.A.s, which are basically cybernetic zombie assassins, making for a pretty unique concept. The practical effects really stand out, giving the film that raw, visceral energy. Bill Hinzman, who we all know from Night of the Living Dead, does his thing here, and Ron Asheton's presence adds this strange rock'n'roll edge to the whole vibe. It's dark and violent, with shoot-outs that are almost chaotic but in a way that fits the atmosphere. The pacing might feel uneven at times, but it adds to the overall tension and unpredictability. Definitely a film that scratches that niche if you're into the more obscure side of 90s horror.
