Les Déguns has this raw, almost chaotic energy that really embodies the spirit of Marseille. You’ve got Karim and Nono, two guys who find themselves in one ridiculous situation after another, jumping from the military camp to the open roads of France. It’s a comedy that doesn’t shy away from a bit of absurdity, but there’s a heart to their journey too, especially in their quest to reconnect with Karim's girlfriend. The pacing is, well, all over the place but that’s part of its charm. Unique characters and quirky encounters create this vibrant atmosphere that feels authentic to the French scene. The performances are pretty engaging; you can tell the actors are having a blast, and that makes it easy to watch.
