So, LifeRaft, from 2016, is an interesting blend of horror and sci-fi with a thriller edge. It kicks off when a group of friends find themselves adrift after their sailing boat goes down. The atmosphere is tense and claustrophobic, which really ramps up the suspense. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, which some folks might find jarring, but it also adds to the unsettling vibe. The practical effects used for the supernatural elements are pretty decent, and they avoid over-relying on CGI, which is refreshing. Performances range from solid to somewhat wooden, but they bring this sense of desperation that fits the story well. Definitely a unique entry in the indie horror scene, and it's got that creeping dread that lingers.
