Living Large is an interesting blend of animation and comedy that dives into some pretty heavy themes for a family flick. It's about this 12-year-old kid who's grappling with bullying because of his weight, which is relatable for so many. The pacing is decent, not too rushed, which gives you time to really feel his ups and downs. What stands out is how it tackles body shaming—there’s a real warmth and positivity beneath the humor, and that’s refreshing. The animation style has its own charm, and while we don’t know who directed it, the performances breathe life into these characters. It’s not just another kids’ movie, you know? There's a bit more heart in this one.
Animation style is charming and colorful.Themes of body positivity and self-acceptance.Humor balances the serious subject matter.
