Loafer is one of those films that straddles a few genres, giving it a quirky charm. The story of Ravi Kumar, the black sheep of the Kumar family, weaves through action, comedy, and romance. It has this chaotic energy, especially with Ravi's knack for getting into fights which feels almost slapstick at times. The pacing is a bit uneven, but that just adds to the wild ride. It's fascinating how the film captures themes of familial expectations and redemption amidst the madness. The practical effects during the fight scenes have a rough edge, which I actually appreciate. And then there's the performances—Ravi's character is so raw and unfiltered, you can't help but get drawn into his misadventures.
Interesting blend of genres, not your typical film.Features notable practical effects in fight scenes.Themes of family and redemption are woven throughout.
