That scene in the prison cell? tense. The pacing is deliberately slow, which might turn some away, but it builds this tension that’s almost unbearable. The themes of identity and transformation are central, and Lynch navigates them in such a twisted way. It’s definitely not for everyone, but for those who appreciate the weird and unsettling, it’s a gem.
