So, 'Lost on Journey' is quite the quirky little film from 2010. You have this toy corporation boss, Chenggong Li, who's trying to make his way back home for Chinese New Year. But things get complicated when he runs into Geng Niu, a stranger who shakes up his plans. The comedy here is sort of whimsical but grounded, with moments that feel very relatable despite the absurdity. The pacing is a bit uneven at times, but it adds a certain charm, I think. The performances are pretty solid, especially considering the unknown director. There's this tangible warmth in the atmosphere that captures the essence of family and homecoming, mixed with the chaos of unexpected encounters. It’s a unique blend of humor and heartfelt moments, definitely something to ponder over.
