Lost Soul is quite the oddity. Set in this eerie, labyrinthine parking garage, you feel the claustrophobia right from the start. The pacing is deliberately slow, building tension almost like a tightrope act. Our protagonist's awkward attempts at flirting with a girl who might just be something other than human set a strange, unsettling tone. The practical effects are refreshing, nodding to older horror films where you feel the weight of the 'real'. The atmosphere is thick, almost suffocating, and there's this creeping dread that just hangs in the air. While the director remains a mystery, the performances draw you in, leaving you questioning what's real. It's definitely a unique take on the horror-thriller genre.
