Luis Miguel: El Concierto is quite the experience, really. It captures a moment in time during the early 90s when Luis was really finding his footing as a live performer. You can feel the energy of the audience, and there's this palpable excitement that runs through the whole thing. The pacing is nice, shifting between those powerful romantic ballads and the upbeat tracks that get everyone moving. The choice to include those José Alfredo Jiménez standards adds depth, showcasing Luis's roots and the emotional weight behind his music. Even though the director's name is lost in the shuffle, the focus is all on Luis and his voice which just shines through. It's a unique slice of music history, for sure.
