Lupin the Third: Island of Assassins is an intriguing entry in the Lupin series, capturing that unique blend of action and adventure we expect. The animation style, though a bit dated, still holds that quirky charm. The pacing is a mix of frantic chases and moments of suspense, especially when Lupin's framed for Zenigata's murder. The atmosphere is thick with tension as he navigates the treacherous island, filled with those sinister Tarantula assassins. The use of Lupin's old Walther P38 as a plot device adds a personal touch. While not groundbreaking, it certainly captures the essence of the series and explores themes of trust and betrayal in a vivid way.
