About This Movie

Made of Honor is one of those rom-coms that tries to mix humor with genuine emotion but doesn’t quite hit every mark. Patrick Dempsey plays Tom, who's got this charming, if a bit self-absorbed, vibe. The chemistry with Michelle Monaghan as Hannah is enjoyable enough, but the whole engagement twist shakes things up in a classic 'will they, won’t they' fashion. The pacing can feel a bit uneven in parts, with some gags landing better than others. It’s set against a backdrop of beautiful Scottish landscapes, which gives it a nice touch.
