Mal Trato is kind of a slow burn, really. The tension builds quietly, which makes the climax feel all the more impactful. Linda, played with a mix of desperation and cunning, just draws you in. Her plan to dispose of Rey is chilling, and you can feel the atmosphere thicken with every scene. Rey’s rage is palpable when he walks in, and Elias’s constant reassurance adds this layer of unease. It’s not flashy with effects, but the way it portrays manipulation and betrayal is striking. The pacing has this ebb and flow that keeps you hooked, and the performances are solid. There's an authenticity to the characters that makes the whole thing resonate in a disquieting way.
