Ruri's shift to captain of Nadesico B adds an interesting dynamic, especially with Akito and Yurika missing. There's a lot to unpack with the Hisago Plan and how Boson Jumping affects the characters and their relationships. The animation holds up well, with some nice practical effects that create a unique atmosphere.
