So, I recently caught 'MatchMaker Mysteries: A Killer Engagement', and it’s a curious blend of cozy mystery vibes and lighthearted drama. The setup is engaging; a murder throws a wrench into a wedding, and our matchmaker, Angie, takes it upon herself to clear her client’s name. The pacing is steady, giving you enough time to chew on the clues without feeling rushed. There's some nice chemistry between Angie and Kyle, the detective, which adds a bit of tension to the investigative angles. The atmosphere feels very TV-movie, but there's a charm in how the small-town setting plays into the narrative. Performances are solid, nothing groundbreaking, but they fit the tone well. If you’re into cozy mysteries, this one's a decent watch.
