So, Mel Fell is this charming little animation that really captures a unique vibe. The story follows Mel, a bird who takes a literal plunge but eventually finds her wings. The pacing is interesting—takes its time to build that tension before the big moment, which I think adds to the overall impact. There’s something refreshing about the way it tackles themes of self-confidence and the leap of faith we all sometimes need to take. The visuals have this lovely mix of hand-drawn and digital effects that lend a warm, textured feel. And, while the director isn’t widely known, the execution is quite distinct—an enjoyable watch for sure, if you’re into thoughtful animations.
