So, 'Meow' is this quirky little comedy that taps into the ennui of retirement, you know? It follows these four guys, all pretty much at a standstill in life, and it's just fascinating to watch their dynamics unfold. The film has a raw, almost improvised feel to it, with dialogue that feels natural, like it's capturing real moments. Telmo's struggle with writing a book adds a nice layer of absurdity to the story. And then you have Mornreal, just out of prison, who brings this unpredictable energy. The pacing is relaxed, allowing for some introspective moments, and there's a warmth to the performances that makes the characters feel relatable, despite their peculiar situations. All in all, it's a different take on friendship and getting older.
