So, 'Message from Jerusalem' is this really unique piece, right? It dives into horror with a surreal twist, adapted from Lovecraft's 'Jerusalem's Lot.' The film's non-linear storytelling keeps you guessing, which adds a certain disorienting charm. It’s made just for that Hail to the King Tribute Show, so it feels kind of like a one-off experience. The practical effects have that raw, gritty feeling that you just don’t get in today’s CGI-heavy landscape. The pacing is a bit erratic, which some might find jarring but I think it contributes to its overall nightmarish quality. And yeah, the performances? They’re not polished but they hit the right notes for the unsettling atmosphere. Definitely an odd gem worth discussing.
