Midnight Garage is one of those low-key horror flicks that really leans into its atmosphere. Set in an underground mall garage, it’s got this eerie, almost claustrophobic vibe that pulls you in. The pacing is uneven at times, but it actually works for the mystery. You’ve got ghosts, haunted parking spaces, and a security guard who I feel for—his colleagues don’t buy into the supernatural chaos, which adds to the tension. The practical effects are a mixed bag, but they do bring a certain charm that CGI just can’t replicate. The way it plays with themes of isolation and disbelief in the face of the bizarre makes it distinctive. Not perfect, but definitely worth a look if you dig horror that doesn’t follow the usual paths.
Creepy atmosphere with a unique setting.Interesting take on isolation and disbelief.Practical effects add to the charm.
