So, 'Missing' (2016) is an interesting piece. It revolves around a single mother, who comes home to an empty house, and you can just feel the dread in the air immediately. The tone is heavy, really captures that sense of panic and confusion. The pacing feels intentional, with some moments dragging just enough to build the tension, and then it hits hard when the revelations come. The performances, especially from the lead, are raw and believable—really sells the emotional toll of a parent facing unimaginable loss. It’s not flashy, but the way it builds atmosphere and tension is what makes it stand out. Definitely has a grittier feel that adds to the unease throughout the film.
