Missing Child Videotape is this dark, unsettling piece that creeps under your skin. Ryota Kondo really nails the atmosphere—it's dense with tension. The pacing is deliberate, almost hypnotic, drawing you into Keita's spiraling descent as he grapples with the bizarre situation. There's a raw edge to the performances, especially from the mother, which adds to the emotional weight. The practical effects are minimal but effective, enhancing the eerie vibe rather than overwhelming it. The way the story unfolds, intertwining mystery and horror, keeps you guessing. It feels like a slow burn that plays with the idea of memory and loss, which I found particularly intriguing. Definitely not your run-of-the-mill horror flick.
