So, Moksha: Salvation is a pretty interesting piece from 2001. It dives deep into the internal struggle of this young law student, who's really caught between his ideals and the reality of his work. You can feel the tension throughout, it’s almost palpable. The pacing can be a bit slow, but it kinda adds to that heavy atmosphere. There’s a distinctive use of practical effects in some scenes that almost feels like a throwback, and the performances are earnest, especially from the lead. It captures the essence of moral dilemmas in a way that feels very relevant, even today. Ashok Mehta's direction, though lesser-known, really lends a unique flavor to the storytelling.
Unique perspective on moral dilemmas.Strong character-driven narrative.Notable for its practical effects.
