Money For Nothing is an interesting blend of comedy and drama, encapsulating a certain youthful ambition that's both relatable and nostalgic. The pacing is brisk, which works well given the half-term school break setting. Christien Anholt as Gary Worrall really captures that eager entrepreneurial spirit of a schoolboy trying to make his first million, and the chemistry with Paul Reynolds as Brian adds a nice layer of camaraderie. There are moments that feel very much of their time, from the fashion to the school dynamics. The romantic subplot involving Lisa, played by Jayne Ashbourn, introduces a more whimsical tone, shifting the narrative slightly but in a way that complements the main story. It has this light-hearted charm, with a touch of earnestness that makes it stand out.
