Monsieur Pug is one of those quirky animated films that really gets under your skin, doesn't it? The pacing is a bit off-kilter, which adds to the surreal vibe of the whole thing. You’ve got this lovable, yet neurotic dog trying to navigate a world that seems stacked against him—his obsession with pie and ice cream is both endearing and a tad tragic. The origami sequences? Totally unexpected, but they fit this strange atmosphere that hangs over the film. It’s more than just a cute dog story; it's about paranoia and how we cope with our demons, even if that demon is just a slice of pie. Definitely distinctive in its narrative style and character quirks.
