So, 'Mr. Socrates' is quite the ride. It's gritty, really. You've got this low-life scumbag who gets sucked into a dark world of crime when a gang snatches him up for their own twisted agenda. The training scenes—man, they’re brutal and really draw you into the desperation and moral ambiguity. As he morphs into a mole within the police force, the tension builds up nicely. The pacing keeps you on edge, and the atmosphere is thick with unease. You can feel the weight of his choices. The performances, though not well-known, add a rawness that fits the tone. It’s not polished, but that's part of its charm, I guess. A distinctive entry in the action-crime genre for sure.
