Muda: When Time Is All That Matters is this intimate drama that really digs into the aspirations and struggles of a couple in the Philadelphia area. You’ve got Cynthia, who's pouring her heart into acting, and Jay, a semi-pro kickboxer with a strong sense of faith. What’s striking here is the portrayal of their relationship – three years in, comfortable yet celibate, really explores the themes of ambition versus intimacy. The pacing is intentionally slow, giving you time to sink into their world, but it feels so real. The performances have this raw, almost unfiltered quality. Not a lot of flashy effects or tricks, which I think adds to its charm. It’s that kind of film that resonates – the little moments, the quiet struggles, and the pursuit of dreams.
