So, this one's quite a curious find—My Bloody Valentine from a gig at the University of London Union back in '89. The recording is from a floor spot, and for that angle, it holds up reasonably well. You get decent close-ups that capture the energy of the performance, though the audio does leave something to be desired; it's pretty distorted, to be honest. It's evident this was transferred from a low generation source, which is a shame, but it gives it an interesting raw quality. The pacing feels a bit uneven in spots, but it totally fits that DIY vibe of the late '80s music scene. Great for digging into that era's atmosphere, even if it's not pristine.
