Naajayaz is one of those interesting films from the mid-90s that blends action and drama in a pretty compelling way. The film follows Jai, who's on a mission to bring down the gangster Raj Solanki, but oh man, the twist that Raj is actually his father really adds a layer of complexity. The pacing keeps things moving; it doesn’t linger too long in the quieter moments, which is nice. The performances are quite engaging, especially how the lead grapples with familial bonds and moral dilemmas. There's some practical action here, which gives it a raw feel. It definitely captures that gritty vibe of the era, making it stand out in the Indian cinema landscape. Worth a watch for anyone into this genre, for sure.
