Naseeb Apna Apna is one of those comedies that leans heavily on family dynamics and traditional expectations. You’ve got Bhim Singh, this overbearing patriarch who really runs the show, pushing his son Kishan into an arranged marriage with Chanda, a character who seems plain but has layers that are slowly revealed. The pacing feels a bit uneven at times, but that adds to its charm, doesn’t it? The performances, especially from the leads, strike a nice balance between humor and tension, capturing the nuances of familial obligation. It’s a touch melodramatic but interspersed with comedic moments that keep it light. The setting in Bombay adds a vibrant backdrop that contrasts with the more serious themes of duty and personal desire.
