So, 'Neighborhood Oppas' kind of dives into the complexities of teen relationships and the pressure of academic success. Hee-joo, this high school girl, really gets a kick out of her tutor, which pushes her to hit the books harder. Then there's Yeon-soo, her best friend, who feels left out and reacts in a pretty harsh way, involving her brothers and some nasty rumors. The pacing feels a bit erratic at times, but it captures that whirlwind of emotions teens go through. The performances are pretty earnest, though not exactly groundbreaking.
