So, 'Neighbours' is an interesting little animated feature that plays with the idea of personal space and the chaos of communal living. You’ve got this guy, just trying to enjoy a simple breakfast, but he’s constantly bombarded by these quirky elderly neighbors. The animation has a sort of whimsical feel, maybe even a touch of slapstick, which pairs nicely with the protagonist's escalating frustration. The pacing really captures that feeling of being overwhelmed, and you can’t help but chuckle at the absurd lengths he goes to find peace. There’s a nice exploration of perspective too—whether to fight back or adapt to the madness around you. Definitely not your typical breakfast story, that's for sure.
