Night of the Wild is one of those quirky TV horror films that kind of sneaks up on you. It has this unsettling atmosphere, especially with how it transforms the familiar setting of a small town into a battleground. The pacing feels right for a TV movie, moving along steadily before the chaos really kicks in. The practical effects on the dogs are decent enough, giving that raw, gritty edge that enhances the horror. Performances are solid too, particularly from the lead, who really captures the essence of a teenager thrust into a nightmare. The themes of loyalty versus survival come through well, especially with Roslyn and her dog Shep. Definitely something to consider for a late-night watch when you're in the mood for something offbeat.
Interesting take on animal horror.Good mix of suspense and character development. Not your typical horror; it has that TV charm.
