So, 'No Escape Room' is an interesting mix of horror and mystery, directed by Alex Merkin. It revolves around a father-daughter duo who stumble into this seemingly innocent escape room in a small town. But things quickly turn dark. The atmosphere is tense, and there's a creeping sense of dread throughout, which is pretty well done. The pacing does feel a bit uneven at times, but it gives you that classic 'something's lurking just out of sight' vibe. The practical effects are solid, adding to the suspense without relying heavily on CGI. Performances are decent; the father and daughter have a believable dynamic. Overall, it’s one of those films that brings together familiar themes of trust and fear in unexpected places.
