So, 'No Through Road' is one of those little gems that just creeps up on you. You’ve got this quiet suburban setting, and then boom—this woman bursts in, and everything shifts. The whole cat-and-mouse vibe really ramps up the tension. The pacing is interesting too; it takes its time to build dread before hitting you with chaos. It’s got that raw, practical effects feel that sometimes gets lost in today’s horror. The performances are decent—especially the lead, who captures that everyman vibe really well. You can feel the desperation and fear bubbling beneath the surface. There's something to be said for the way it plays with isolation, making you think about what you’d do in that situation. Definitely not your typical slasher fare.
