So, Not Found 6 is the latest in that eerie found footage franchise. The atmosphere is thick with dread, which is something I really appreciate in this series. You know, it embraces that uncanny feeling of watching something you shouldn’t. The pacing is uneven, but it works in building that disquieting tension. Practical effects are pretty solid; nothing too flashy, but they don’t shy away from the grotesque. There’s a rawness in the performances too, which adds to the documentary-style realism. They really lean into the themes of obsession and the consequences of delving too deep into the unknown. It feels like more of an experience than a straightforward horror flick, and I think that’s what sets it apart in its own right.
