So, 'Not in This World' is an interesting piece. It really plays with the idea of isolation, you know? Jung-cheol is this solitary figure living in the mountains, just existing without really living. The pacing is slow, almost meditative, which some might find dull, but it really lets you soak in the atmosphere. Then there's Ji-soo, whose singing draws him out of his shell. Her voice β it's haunting and beautiful. The way he quietly observes her life adds this layer of tension and yearning. The performances are understated but really effective. It's not flashy, but rather grounded, which makes it distinctive in its own subtle way. Definitely worth exploring if you enjoy character-driven narratives.
