Nothing Man has this gritty, raw vibe that really pulls you in. The pacing is a bit uneven, but it adds to the disorientation of the protagonist, which I think was intentional. The atmosphere is bleak and haunting—captures that kind of urban desolation perfectly. The amnesiac angle is intriguing, and as he digs into his friend's murder, you get this slow reveal of his own past, which is pretty layered. The practical effects are decent, and the action is not over-the-top, which keeps it grounded. The performances, especially from the lead, carry a weight that makes you feel for him. It’s a divisive film for sure, but there’s something about its authenticity that sticks with you.
