You’ve got this young boy, caught in the wilds of the island, and a trio of park security guards who are just trying to do their jobs. The pacing is tight, with tension building as they become the hunted, and that Troodon? Quite a standout with its menacing presence. The practical effects on that dinosaur really pull you in, giving it a tangible feel that computer-generated creatures often miss. The atmosphere is thick with suspense, reminiscent of earlier entries but with its own unique take. The performances are solid, especially the kid, who brings a genuine sense of vulnerability that adds weight to the whole experience. Definitely an interesting addition to the lore.
