Obelisk - The Man In The Tower is a curious blend of animation and horror, where David, our cameraman, finds himself in a house that seems to defy logic. The architecture shifts around him; it’s like the space is alive, almost conspiring against him. There’s this creeping dread throughout the film that really pulls you in, making you question what’s real and what’s not. The practical effects are interesting too, they add a tangible layer to the animated visuals. The pacing is deliberate, building tension and unease, leading to those moments where you think he’s alone, but maybe he isn’t. It’s distinctive for how it plays with perception and the uncanny, really sticking with you after it’s over.
