Obsession(s) really plays with that claustrophobic tension, doesn't it? You’ve got this fascinating interplay between the imprisoned Marc Douelec and the relentless Sarah Lisbourn. The atmosphere is so thick with dread, and you can feel Sarah's emotional baggage as she digs deeper into her mother’s murder while trying to deal with Douelec’s twisted mind games. The pacing is tight, keeping you guessing, though it sometimes meanders just enough to heighten the suspense. What I find intriguing is how they use practical effects sparingly, letting the story's psychological aspects take center stage.
