Ocean 14 is a quirky little comedy that takes you on a ride through the sun-soaked streets of Sharm El-Sheikh. The plot revolves around Ta’oun, a not-so-bright thief with a wild idea to rob the famous singer Ahlam. He drags his fiancée and her brother into his harebrained scheme. The humor's a bit uneven, but there's something charming about the way the characters interact, especially Ta’oun's cluelessness against the backdrop of his fiancée's reluctance. The pacing sometimes feels a bit off, but it adds to the whimsical, almost chaotic atmosphere. There's this underlying tension with the police officer on his tail, which keeps the stakes interesting. A different take on the heist genre, it has a certain rough-around-the-edges quality that gives it character.
