The atmosphere is thick with dread, but there's this strange beauty in the chaos. Practical effects are used in a way that pulls you in, grounding the supernatural elements. The pacing can be a bit uneven, but it plays into the disorientation of the afterlife. The performances, especially that of the lead, really capture the struggle of holding on to one's humanity amidst the desire for revenge.
