Official Exterminator 2: Heaven's Hell is a curious piece from '87 that blends action with a wild, cut-and-paste approach. It’s got this gritty, raw vibe that screams low-budget filmmaking. The pacing is all over the place, shifting from moments of intense violence to oddly placed comedic breaks, which gives it a disjointed charm. Mark Watson as Phil is pretty earnest in his quest for revenge against the slick Lucas, played by Mike Abbott, who embodies that smarmy antagonist perfectly. And then there’s Alfred, the Taiwanese thug, whose methods of retribution are memorably brutal. The practical effects are a mixed bag, sometimes laughable but endearing in their execution. All in all, it's a fascinating glimpse into the era's crossover of cinema styles.
