Oihartzunak is this intense little gem, really captures that feeling of an impending storm, both outside and within. Maia and Txema, they’re just trying to unwind, but the tension creeping in from those screams downstairs is palpable. It’s interesting how the film uses silence and sound to create this thick atmosphere, almost suffocating at times. The argument that unfolds feels like a boiling over of unspoken issues, making you question how well you know those closest to you. The pacing is slow, sure, but it draws you in, letting you dwell in the discomfort of their relationship. The performances are raw, especially from the leads—there’s a sincerity that makes it all feel very real. Definitely one to sit with and think about afterward.
Great example of modern indie storytelling.Themes of relationship strain amid external chaos.Unique sound design enhances emotional depth.
