Okhti is this haunting little piece, really. It dives into memory and loss, all through the lens of a brother reflecting on his sister’s life in a post-apocalyptic world. The pacing feels deliberate, almost meditative, which enhances the weight of each recollection. The atmosphere is thick with a sense of longing and melancholy, and yet there’s a quiet beauty in the imagery. Practical effects are minimal but they add to the rawness of the experience. I found the performances to be quite moving; they don’t overplay the emotions, which fits the film's understated tone. It’s not conventional storytelling, but there’s a poignant depth in its simplicity that sticks with you long after it’s over.
