Old Cans is this quirky blend of comedy and drama that feels very much like a slice-of-life piece. Vorel manages to capture the nuances of friendship in a way that's both tender and a bit messy. The contrast between Petr's structured life and Michal's aimless existence is pretty well-drawn. You can almost feel the weight of their past as they navigate their current lives, and the graffiti element adds a vibrant layer of rebellion. It's not overly polished, which I think works to its advantage, giving it a raw, authentic vibe. The performances feel genuine, especially in the quieter moments. The pacing is relaxed, reflective of their friendship, with bursts of humor that feel earned rather than forced.
