So, On Any Sunday: Revisited is kind of a nostalgic trip back into that world of motorcycles that Bruce Brown originally captured. It's interesting how they revisit some of the same themes of camaraderie and that raw love for speed. The pacing is pretty laid back, typical of a doc, but it allows you to soak in the personalities and stories of these riders. What stands out, really, are the practical effects and the way they capture the thrill of the race. You get a feel for the passion and grit of the sport, and while the performances are less about acting and more about real-life experiences, it’s compelling. It feels like a deeper dive into a culture than just a rehash of the first film.
