So, 'One and One is Life' is a really intriguing piece, you know? It’s this short stop motion animation, just shy of five minutes. The way it plays with mirrors and automobiles creates a sort of surreal atmosphere, almost dreamlike. The visuals are pretty striking, especially for a 16mm film. And the music by Thollem McDonas really complements the animation, adding a layer of depth that pulls you in. It feels like a commentary on connection—how we see ourselves and each other through different lenses, literally and figuratively. The pacing is brisk but allows you to linger on each frame. It’s distinctive for sure, not your typical animation, and worth a look if you’re into experimental works.
